Emmy & Oliver by Robin Benway

When Emmy’s childhood friend, Oliver, returns home ten years after he was kidnapped by his own father, Emmy tries to piece their friendship back together…but it’s a little harder than it seems. Let us start off by saying that this book is a masterpiece! Not only is it an incredible idea but it features loveable characters and a sweet romance. Emmy & Oliver is definitely a must-read.

Written in the Stars by Aisha Saeed

Still in love with Saif, she must find a way to escape her marriage. This book is an incredible eye-opened that helps the reader to understand the plight of women who are forced into arranged marriages. We promise you won’t regret reading this book.

It’s no surprise that we love this book, it’s written by the same author as If I Stay and Where She Went and is equally as good.

Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella

After writing a plethora of incredible books for adults (the Confessions of a Shopaholic series, Wedding Night, The Undomestic Goddess etc) British author, Sophie Kinsella, has finally turned her attention to teens and we couldn’t be more thrilled. In her debut YA novel, Sophie writes about Audrey, a 14-year-old girl suffering from Social Anxiety disorder, General Anxiety Disorder and Depressive Episodes. When Audrey’s doctor notices that she’s making little progress on the road to recovery, she encourages Audrey to take a baby step by talking to someone outside of her family. Audrey chooses Linus, her older brother’s friend and there’s an instant connection. Their relationship just might help Audrey conquer her mental illness. Like all of Sophie Kinsella books, Finding Audrey is an absolute pleasure to read; it’s smart, witty and full of heart. We highly recommend this one as a fall must-read book.

Anatomy of a Misfit by Andrea Portes

Described as a cross between Mean Girls and The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Anatomy of a Misfit is a story about the third most popular girl in school, Annika Dragomir. On the outside she’s a cool girl but on the inside she’s a freak and she’s intent on keeping that fact a secret for fear of sliding down in her social standing. We give this book two thumbs up for its honesty and hilarity.
