Does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?

Iron Man 3 is the third film in the series and the fourth film featuring Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) as Iron Man—considering last summer’s super-hero hit, The Avengers.

Tony Stark has been suffering with anxiety since battling alien forces with The Avengers (it’s good to know that super hero’s have bad days too). He’s been concentrating more on Iron Man than his girlfriend Pepper Potts (Gwenyth Paltrow).

Trouble hits when The Mandarin (Ben Kingsley) hijacks TV broadcasts across the nation, siting American politics as his reson for threatening the President (William Sadler).

But every master-villain has a partner-in-crime, and that’s where Aldrich Killian (Guy Pearce) comes in. He’s a brilliant scientist who’s able to re-program human genes, but has bad history with Tony Stark. As an evil-duo, The Mandarin and Alrich Killian hit targeted areas with bombs—including Iron Man’s home—and has the country in the grips of fear.

After Pepper is kidnapped and his home is destroyed, Tony has to take it back to the basics, using a mechanic’s garage hidden in the middle of nowhere and a young boy, Harley, as his look-out, so he can repair his damaged Iron Man suit to save his girl—and the world.

Iron Man 3

Here’s the run down:

Humour: Tony Stark is full of comical one-liners. They get you every time!

Drama: This is a super-hero movie, so there’s enough good vs. evil drama to go around!

Action: Bombs, home-made weapons and several Iron Man suits all add up to an action-packed film.
