From 2005-2006, Oshawa, Ontario’s Rides Again found a unique way to touch young audiences. The band – Nathan Peyton, Chad Peyton and Mike McElroy – joined up with the motivational speaking company Absolute, which was an organization that focused on the high school demographic. To make the event more appealing, Absolute hired the hard-rocking Rides Again to perform at every engagement. “The high school kids really loved it, and for a lot of them, it was their first concert,” mentions Nathan Peyton. “Many of these kids didn’t go to shows or weren’t in any music scene – to spark something in them was the coolest thing.” More sparks flew at the end of 2007 when the trio released their debut CD, Into Existence.
