‘Wonder Woman’ Gal Gadot Discusses Gender Issues

Gal Gadot plays Wonder Woman on the big screen, but she’s not a sword wielding superhero in real life. The actress tells Marie Claire magazine, “I don’t enjoy conflict in my life… unlike Wonder Woman, I’m not a fighter but I will fight for good.”

Wait a second, Gal isn’t a real deal superhero and she’s just acting up there? Yeah, we think everyone pretty much knew that, but just because she can’t actually fly doesn’t mean her capabilities aren’t soaring. Gal tells the magazine, “My mom raised my sister and me to be confident women with aspirations…and I always felt capable. I’m not saying that I’m stronger than most men…but we all have the same brains and we can achieve the same things.”

Gal knows that the gender issue is easier said than done. She tells Marie Claire, “There’s a long way to go until we can make gender a non-issue…I don’t know if it’ll ever happen. I’m hoping it will because life would be so much cooler and less complicated then. Also, for men, by the way.”

We wonder if this woman is on the right track!
