Being the bad guy can be tough.

In Disney’s Wreck-It-Ralph the title 600-pound, giant-fisted character, finds himself unhappy after 30 years of being the villain in his video game Fix-It-Felix. The game’s hero Felix constantly comes to the rescue and repairs the apartment that Ralph (voice by John C. Reilly) always destroys. While Felix (Jack McBrayer) gets all the praise, love and affection from the Nicelanders who live in the building, Ralph is neglected and left alone to live on top of a garbage dump.

On a mission to earn a medal so that people will finally appreciate him, Ralph leaves his game and enters the depths of hi-definition Hero’s Duty to fight an invasion of Cy-Bugs. Doing what he does best (wrecking things), Ralph ends up bringing havoc to the entire arcade when he crash-lands in the game Sugar Rush, bringing a highly destructive Cy-Bug along with him. He’s too busy creating chaos to play online games.

Good-hearted Felix and Hero’s Duty’s lead character Sergeant Calhoun (Jane Lynch) follow Ralph into Sugar Rush in hopes of bringing him back and eliminating the Cy-Bug before it infests the game. Meanwhile Ralph befriends the feisty “glitch” racer Vanellope von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman) in an effort to regain his missing medal.

Will Ralph be able to prove that he can be good and fix the mess he’s made?

Promising adults a tidal wave of nostalgia with appearances and references to many classic video game characters like Sonic the Hedgehog and Pac-Man, while providing young ones with an entertaining and family-friendly plot, Wreck-It-Ralph is sure to entertain all audiences.
