Dallas Green has had award winning success within Alexisonfire and City and Colour, but surprisingly still struggles with self-doubt. “It doesn’t matter how many people buy the record or come see the show,” says Green, “I’m always going to be like, ‘I don’t know if this line is good enough.’” Regardless, his 2008 album Bring Me Your Love roared out of the gates with the lead single “Waiting,” and managed to propel Green into a whole new direction. “I just didn’t want to write a record again that was full of love songs, because there wasn’t a need to,” he thoughtfully adds. “I don’t want to write fake love songs, those are just not my thing.”
