Fall TV Shows You’ll Want To Get Cozy With

With the changing leaves, drop in temperature, and a mug full of hot chocolate, the most appealing way to spend the weekend is cozied up inside, marathoning awesome TV shows. At least, that’s what we’ll be doing from now till spring. Here are my picks…

Whether you’re in the mood for something spooky, romantic, mythical, or mysterious, we’ve got you covered with these top four favourite series.

1. Stranger Things

We’d be fools not to include this popular Netflix original that gets spooky real fast, with a cast of characters all driven by their own desires and fears. There’s tons of suspense, a monster on the loose, a group of friends getting closer and closer to the truth, and a government organization trying to clean up the supernatural mess they’ve created.

2. Once Upon A Time

once-upon-a-time

Have you ever wished that the fairytales from your childhood were real and that you could step right into them and become a part of the adventure? Yeah, us too. Thankfully, the main protagonist, Emma Swan, gets to do just that and we get to watch it all happen. She’ll meet the Evil Queen, Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood, and Maleficent, to name a few. Swan isn’t one to be convinced easily though, it’ll take a lot for her to believe fairytales are real.

3. Ripper Street

ripper-street

A grief-stricken, yet determined detective, Edmund Reid, tries to keep the streets of London safe after the horror of Jack the Ripper. The public’s fear is still raw and Reid is reeling from his own personal tragedy, but there are criminals afoot and order needs to find it’s way back onto the streets. Reid and his team have their work cut out for them if they’re going to keep panic in check every time there’s another murder.

4. Sleepy Hollow

Sleepy-Hollow

The tale of the headless horseman comes to life in the quiet town of Sleepy Hollow. When a man who’s been dead for 250 years is brought back to life in the present day, he’ll have to face ancient, evil enemies and navigate life in the 21st century—good thing he’s got an ally in one of the local police officers, Abby Mills. These two must work together to fight the supernatural forces planning to take over their town and the world.
