Meet Juliana Lupis: A Modern Media Maven

In the world of media, there are very few individuals whose talent and determination carve out a space that transcends extraordinary success.

Juliana Lupis is one such individual: a unique talent whose influence spans across modelling, acting, entrepreneurship, and social influence. At a remarkably young age, Juliana embarked on a journey that has seen her achieve extraordinary success and make a profound impact in the media landscape.

Juliana’s journey began at the age of eight years old when she won a national Canadian La Senza Girl contest amongst thousands of applicants. As a young talent, she was signed by the prestigious Ford Models where she demonstrated and showcased exceptional modelling skills. Juliana worked with globally recognized brands and gained notable features in both print and digital media, including Walmart, The Bay, Zellers, Sears, Siblings, and La Senza Girl.

Embracing her passion for media, Juliana ventured into the world of acting, captivating audiences with her talent and versatility. In 2008 she signed with a top talent agency in Toronto, Butler Ruston Bell Inc. She showcased exceptional acting talent and was featured in over 15 international music videos, including French Montana and Massari’s “Shisha.”

In addition to her music video features, Juliana was a supporting actress in the short films “Cinder” and “What Have We Done.”

In 2011, at just 15 years old she won a contest and was chosen to conduct interviews for “Live! Starring…You!” She interviewed Jordan Francis from Disney Channel’s original movie, “Camp Rock,” and Luke Bilyk from the television show “Degrassi”.

Juliana has also represented our very own Faze Magazine as contributor, writer and Faze host of the 2017 iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards in Toronto. She interviewed celebrities such as Shawn Hook, Lights and Torrance Combs.

Her journey also includes assisting in interviewing a variety of celebrities on the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).

Transitioning seamlessly from the world of modelling and acting, Juliana pursued higher education in University. She specialized in media communication and journalism. Her dedication and commitment led her to achieve remarkable success as an honour student and attained an Ontario Scholar Award, as well as an Interactive Graphic Media Award. She successfully completed an internship with Entertainment Tonight Canada (ETC) and specialized in media production.

Beyond her work as a model, actress, and entrepreneur, Juliana emerged as a prominent influencer in the digital sphere, travels the world, and now has over 106,000 Instagram followers (@juleshoney_). Most recently in 2023, Juliana graced the screen in one of Netflix’s most popular television shows, “Selling Sunset,” appearing in Season 6, Episode 11, “It’s Not Worth It.”
