In 2007, Lauren Gottlieb was a contestant on the ever so popular ‘So You Think You Can Dance’. Now, she’s back on Season 7…as an all-star!
Lauren Gottlieb, who made Top 6 in season 3, returns to perform each week with a vying hopeful in her specific dance genres of contemporary, jazz, hip-hop and Broadway—a new format for the show.
“It’s a little bit more relaxing cause we’re not worried about getting voted off and being judged…but it’s still a lot of pressure—you want to do your best for yourself and for your partner,” says Lauren.
But between her first national appearance in ’07 and now, the Arizona native has kept busy, appearing in feature films such as Bring It On: Fight to the Finish and Hannah Montana: The Movie, and working with music artists like Shakira, Carrie Underwood and Mariah Carey. Lauren even landed a recurring role on the awardwinning show Glee as a dancer and member of the rival glee club, Vocal Adrenaline.
With all the success Lauren has surmounted in the last few years as a beautiful, talented dancer and a choreographer, she has three key words to share for success in this industry: “Heart, patience and positivity.”
