MuchMusic Video Awards: Go Behind The Scenes With The Stars

The streets were closed, the traffic was high and the screams were loud. All this could only mean one thing. That’s right, Canada’s biggest block party was back on in Toronto.

This year, the MuchMusic Video Awards (MMVA) saw many A-list stars walk the red carpet including Taylor Swift, Glee’s Naya Rivera, Avril Lavigne, Arrow’s Steven Amell and two Pretty Little Liars stars, Lucy Hale and Shay Mitchell.

With viral sensation Psy as the co-host, the energy was high throughout the entire show. Faze was behind the scenes, backstage in the press room, where many of the stars dropped by to answer some of our burning questions.

Tyler Hoechlin, the swoon-worthy werewolf from Teen Wolf told us that, “[Presenting and going on stage] is one of the most nerve-wracking things for me just because you’ve gotta keep it kind of funny, but keep it quick and be on schedule. So it’s weird being yourself and still performing in a way.”

“Seeing Psy perform was really cool,” said MMVA veterans Billy Talent, when asked about their favourite moments from the night. Psy performed “Gangham Style,” with fans dancing along with him. Those who took over the streets most likely lost their voices after seeing singers Demi Lovato, Avril Lavigne, Ed Sheeran and Phillip Phillips also take the stage to perform their hits.
