From writing and recording music in her room to being crowned the winner of The Next Star: Season 7, Jory Zechner is living the life she’s always dreamed of.
It was an intense season as the Top 6 went through challenges that pushed their vocals, picked up choreography and were judged week after week by judges Dan Kantar, Tara Oram and Mark Spicoluk. The final show came and it all wrapped up on September 21, 2014 at Canada’s Wonderland.
The finale was jam packed with performances from Shawn Mendes, Echosmith and the top 6 finalists who performed original music in front of a live audience. 15-year-old Jory claimed the most votes because of her powerful and past inspiring performances.
Faze had the opportunity to chat with Jory and get the scoop on her reaction to the big win.
