Rihanna and Lupita Nyong’o reportedly just scored a movie in the most 2017 way ever. After this picture of the two of them surfaced, a Twitter user said, “Rihanna looks like she scams rich white men and lupita is the computer smart best friend that helps plan the scans.” We’re sure they meant “scams.”
It’s been re-tweeted nearly 100,000 times. According to Entertainment Weekly, this led to the movie idea actually being pitched to Netflix, which made a bid for the project. Issa Rae has reportedly expressed interest as a writer, and director Ava DuVernay seems to be on board with the film as well.
