This action-packed comedy follows the unlikely duo of Tonto (Johnny Depp) and John Reid, otherwise known as The Lone Ranger (Armie Hammer), on their quest for justice.

Lawyer John Reid is on his way back to his hometown on a train that’s holding the outlaw Butch Cavendish, as well as Comanche Indian Warrior Tonto, when chaos ensues and Butch breaks free. When he arrives back home, John is approached by his brother Dan, the head ranger, to become part of his crew and help find Butch.

But after a deadly showdown, John finds himself alone with no one to help him but Tonto, thus the creation of the iconic Lone Ranger. This hilarious pairing has to learn to work together to find and capture Butch, then deal with the corruption happening back in town.

Here’s the run down:

Action: In typical Wild West fashion, gunfights and explosions will keep you on the edge of your seats. Blood is not a rare occurrence in this movie, so if you’re squeamish beware.

Romance: There’s a subtle undertone throughout the movie, but just enough to make your heart melt.

Comedy: As you might have guessed with a Johnny Depp movie, the jokes are flying between Tonto and the Lone Ranger.
