What’s New: Crayola Take Note! Collection Will Add Colour To Your Life

Collection

It’s amazing to think that Crayola has been bringing colour to generations of artistic kids for over 116 years! Over the years the beloved brand has vastly expanded their colour palette (and come up with clever names for all those new hues) and eventually entered the coloured pen and marker business, for kids, tweens, teens and adults.

2019 is another big year for this iconic brand. Crayola is showing off an exciting new collection of vibrant writing and study tools that definitely will appeal to a wide audience, and for a wide range of applications. The Crayola Take Note! lineup includes permanent and dry erase markers, washable gel pens, highlighter pens (including erasable ones!) and felt-tip pens.

Crayola Take Note Erasable Highlighers

Practical innovations

Exciting Take Note! innovations include ink level indicators in the Dry Erase Markers, Gel Pens that are washable, Highlighter pens that are erasable and a second type of Highlighter that have both a nib for writing and highlighting in the same pen. The Permanent Markers are low odour, fine point and optimized to write on nearly everything from fabrics and canvas (think shoes!) to plastic and metal (water bottles!) to wood and others surfaces.

Lots of colours, styles for artistic and practical projects

The range of bold colours is exciting as well. The Dry-Erase markers come in 12 colours, Washable Gel Pens have 14 colours, and the Permanent Markers come in 24 colours.

Crayola’s Take Note! pens and markers have many applications, limited only by one’s imagination. They will take your note taking, homework, journaling and daily and project planning to a whole new colourful level. We’re big fans of using paper, pens and colour on our planning systems (as well as digital apps) and some of the new Take Note! features are great in practice, e.g. the writing/highlight combo pen, and the erasable highlighter. For the white board, and yes we use several of those as well here in the office, the new lineup of chisel-tip and fine-tip, has upped our game.

For artistic types out there the Take Note! palette of colours and tips are extensive, and the Permanent Markers are particularly nice to work with on several surfaces we’ve tested. A great all-round, multi-purpose collection of colour writing and creative tools that are affordable and available in most major retailers.
