For those who have seen the hit TV show Big Love, you are probably familiar with the cutie Teenie Henrickson, played by Bella Thorne. Bella was also seen on the O.C., playing young Taylor Townsend, and has been on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” doing some hilarious skits. But although she has already landed some amazing roles, acting has not always been easy for Bella.
She continually struggles with dyslexia, which means that reading and memorizing scripts is not an easy feat. But that didn’t stop her from chasing her dream. “Loving acting so much helped me get through it and really helped to develop better reading. My mom helps me; she reads with me every night and the Children’s Learning Center helps me too.”
Bella also offered some advice for others who may battle the same problems: “Just keep trying, because you’ll get through it.” Bella proves the value in not letting anyone or anything stand in the way of your dreams.
