Slicing an apple is a simple way to prepare apples. You can slice it by hand with a knife, or use an apple slicer and have it done in seconds!

Apple sauce is a great treat to have, and even cooler when you make it yourself with fresh apples. To make applesauce, first peel, core and slice the apples. Next, in a saucepan, combine the apples, water and cinnamon (optional), and bring it to a boil. Cover the saucepan, reduce the heat and let it simmer while stirring occasionally for 20 minutes or until it is tender. You can also heat the applesauce in the microwave, uncovered, at high for 12 minutes, pausing to stir twice. Once your applesauce is heated, let it stand for 5 minutes.

For a unique apple experience, try the apple ice-cream bowl! Slice an apple in half, and then carve out majority of the inside, leaving enough around the edges to make a sturdy bowl. Fill it with ice cream and you just made your dessert a whole lot healthier!

To make a tasty little apple snack preheat your oven to 225 degrees F. Then, arrange apple slices on a metal baking sheet. Next, you mix sugar and cinnamon together in a bowl, and sprinkle it over the apple slices. Bake these in the oven until theĀ apples are dry and the edges curl up. This will take 45 minutes to an hour.

Everyone loves apples dipped in caramel, but this unique recipe takes caramel apples to a new level! Slice an apple in half and then carve out some of the inside. Pour in caramel sauce or melted caramel. Put the apples in the fridge until the caramel is completely hardened. Slice the apple and enjoy!
