Introducing Indie Duo Armistice

Combine a hint of reggae, some mariachi and flamenco with two talented indie musicians and you get Armistice.

The gifted duo is made up of (otherwise known as Coeur de Pirate). The two joined together to create Armistice after they collaborated on Bedouin Soundclash’s “Brutal Hearts.”

Their new self-titled, 5-track EP was released on February 15th through Bedouin Soundclash’s Pirates Blend imprint and Dare To Care Records. The tracks are fresh, inviting and make you feel as if you’re warm on a tropical island.

In their first single, “Mission Bells,” the duo harmonize perfectly as they sing of two lovers who are caught between war. The collection also features backing from El Bronx, said to be the mariachi alter ego of LA band The Bronx.

Armistice’s brilliant job on this album will please even the hard to please and those who are not indie fans. With its diverse appeal, beautiful arrangements and stunning duets by Jay Malinowski and Beatrice Martin, Armistice is sure to capture the hearts of a wide variety of music lovers.
