1. Raspberry Smoothie

6 oz. Greek yogurt
1 cup raspberries
½ cup non-fat milk
½ cup ice cubes

The Greek yogurt contains prebiotics, which help with the absorption of vitamins and nutrients. The raspberries provide a big fibre boost helping your body get rid of the nasty wastes that contribute to fatigue.

2. Chocolate Black Forest Smoothie

1/2 heaping cup frozen dark sweet cherries
1/2 frozen banana, cut into chunks
1/2 cup chocolate soy or low-fat chocolate milk
2 tablespoons low-fat Greek yogurt
1 teaspoon honey
1/8 teaspoon almond extract

3. Kiwi and Kale Smoothie

2 cups kale stems and leaves
1 frozen kiwi fruit, peeled
1 tablespoon smooth unsalted peanut butter
1 teaspoon agave nectar, honey or maple syrup

Kale is rich in magnesium and protein which help with energy production. It is also rich in nutrients such as vitamin A, C, K and calcium and iron. With a lot of antioxidants and fibre, you will feel full pre-workout as well as keeping your blood sugar stable.
